Office of Independent Investigation Submission
The Washington State Office of Independent Investigations (OII) is authorized to investigate use of deadly force if new evidence is provided that was not included in the initial investigation. Currently, OII is only reviewing incidents that resulted in a fatality.
Submit an Officer for Decertification
RCW 43.101.145 (SB 5051) allows any individual to submit a written complaint to the WSCJTC stating that an officer's certification should be denied, revoked, or suspended.
